To my fellow adventure seekers,

Hi kids! I'm thrilled you are new friends of Luna and Leo. You know, they're a lot like you — sometimes they're afraid, and sometimes they're really, really brave. But no matter what, they never stop trying, even when things get hard. That's what makes them such good friends to have.

As you follow them around the world, I hope you find a little bit of yourself in every adventure. Have fun with your new friends!

To the parents and protectors,

There's nothing quite like watching your kids fall in love with a great story — and now you get to take that journey with them alongside Luna and Leo. These stories are meant to do more than simply entertain — I hope they open up conversations you might not have had otherwise, about courage, friendship, and the beauty that can come from facing something difficult.

I'd love for this to be a two-way adventure. Please send us photos, videos, postcards, or letters of you and your kids reading the books, exploring together, or dreaming up where you'd love to see Luna and Leo go next. We're building a scrapbook of every family who's joined this journey, and I'd be honored to include yours.
